Here, I wanted a discreet and old Rolex, without the wart on the sapphire and without a date too;
I lost my parents in 2021 due to covid 19 and with the inheritance money, I was able to treat myself.
So I bought this Rolex air king precision 14000 from 1990 and I bought it from a well-known AD (Maier in Lyon) so I'm sure it's not fake. I love its champagne dial, these little stick indexes and above all it is almost all in polished steel, a size of 34 mm (I love small sizes). It is very comfortable to wear because it is quite light.

I always wanted a Yema superman, when I learned that they were going to release it with a "manufacture" movement, it told me biennial launch was on Kickstarter but as I prefer human contact I went to my AD in Lyon to order it.
Ordered mid-February and received at the end of September, a little long but hey.
Once the box was opened (the case is great but hey, it's just a box), I found it magnificent (it's true that photos are always a little misleading).
The only small flaw is perhaps the bracelet which is a little rigid.

As previously posted on another review of my vintage Yema, I found this Omega Seamaster 30 manual winding on the Belgian site Sometimes (really excellent), it is from 1964 (so my age).
It has a manual caliber 286 and the ref: 135-003. Movement ref: 21069599.
It is gold plated and has a diameter of 34 mm excluding crown.
Handmade bracelet of very good quality.
Otherwise, sorry for the photos, I lent my macro nikkor 60 mm and I took the photos with a phone.

The watch (with my Yema too) from my sixtieth birthday.

At the beginning of March, knowing that my 60th birthday was coming (August 2nd), I said to myself, why not a watch from 1964 or close to it, in short from the 60s.
So I searched on forums, internet, word of mouth for an early French watch if possible and given the production at the time, I had to find one.
So it was on a Belgian site that I found it; the site; sometimes and it's this Yema automatic with a Swiss ETA caliber.
The site, super serious, watch ordered on a Sunday, received the following Wednesday.
I opened the package, super serious and it is MAGNIFICENT .....
Then I put it aside and opened it again on August 2nd for my 60th birthday.

This LOV, what can I say, is for me a popular watch, it is one of the watches of my grandfather who was a caretaker of a public primary school in Lyon Vaise, he used it every day to work, with hyper physical activities at the time like putting into service the coal boiler of the school and it was done at the time without any machinery only with a shovel and sweat. Then it remained at least more than 30 years in a drawer and after the death of my parents, I discovered it, well damaged. I took it to my local watchmaker, a Plexiglas revision to change as well as the crown which had taken a shot and roll my hen, it left again immediately.

Sober, classic, reliable and I like all-steel watches, it's not flashy, I wanted a first Swiss watch, for me, I think I made the right choice, it's not Bing bling and can also be worn every day but hey, given my job, it's not really the case, it's a GMT not too visible not like all these GMTs with their multi-colored bezels like its sister the Black Bay GMT or its cousins from Rolex and knowing me, I keep everything, so not about to resell it, that's it, I'm not a big talker and even less a great writer.
Well I don't know what else to say.
