Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer Owner Review : Virile, professional and robust

This watch is very emblematic in my eyes. It was given to me for my 30th birthday. This watch symbolizes for me my passage into adulthood. It is also the first Swiss manufacture watch in my collection. At the time, I was very new to mechanical watches. I had chosen to take an Omega watch for the reputation and recognized qualities of the Omega brand. I did not feel comfortable wearing a Rolex on my wrist at the time (this is still the case). I hesitated a lot with the Speedmaster MoonWatch. The criteria that made me switch were the automatic caliber, the water resistance of a diver and also most certainly Daniel Craig with the 007 marketing. Today, I continue to appreciate and wear this watch very regularly. It remains the most imposing watch in my collection. Its 42 mm case remains very pleasant. It has the same dimensions as that of the Speedmaster with a more imposing thickness (14.5 mm). At the same time, nothing abnormal for a 600 meter diver!!! I wore this watch for a long time with the original steel bracelet. Now, I prefer wearing it on leather bracelets or nato (single pass). It makes it much thinner on my wrist and especially less heavy (191g with the metal bracelet). Despite these twelve years, it remains as precise as ever and remains well within the COSC criteria with its Co-Axial Omega 2500 caliber. It has only had one revision since its purchase. The luminosity of the indexes and hands is still there.
