Here is a beast like no other, and yet so impressive in its capabilities and design that I am surprised not to see more of it on the wrists of enthusiasts! This Breitling was a revelation for me during a surprise test in store. While I expected to be swept away by the size of the almost burlesque case, a few seconds later I found myself amazed by the simplicity and efficiency of its case, the depth of its dial and the technique of its bezel. One of those watches that you absolutely have to try, but which totally convinced me for sports use. However, after several months, I found myself wearing it every day with pleasure and without any problems. A vibrant watch with changing colors, and absolutely impeccable technology. An anti-magnetic case (faraday cage around the movement), a very practical bezel locking system for mountain biking or swimming (I tended to accidentally turn the bezel during physical activities, with sweat/mud), and adequate materials (matte ceramic for the bezel, titanium for the case), make this watch capable of surviving any ordeal! I am absolutely crazy about my Breitling, and in this version with a green dial limited to the brand's boutiques, I really feel like I own a rare and little-known piece. This watch also won the GPHG 2020 competition in the diver's category, which adds another line to an already full CV. I was not necessarily convinced by Breitling divers, being more of a fan of the brand's aviation watches, and I find myself almost surprised to praise the merits of this superb piece. The only regret is that Breitling could have equipped this watch with a movement with a greater power reserve, and would have made a clean sweep. In the meantime, I'm going to do a little trail, with my Superocean 48 on my wrist of course!

This is my 3rd Breitling… I wanted a classic sporty diver with character. So a little over a year ago I acquired this Breitling Superocean 1000 meters in the Yellow Cobra color with rubber strap and folding clasp. The watch fits relatively well on the wrist thanks to the soft and pleasant rubber strap. The micro adjustment on the folding clasp is very well thought out. In hindsight, I find that nearly 4000 euros for this watch is a little expensive considering my last purchase (Bohen Mille Mer). Indeed the watch is well finished but light years away from the one mentioned above which is nevertheless a little less expensive (3000 euros excluding VAT). I would recommend this watch if it were less than 2000 euros...

While surfing the Breitling website 2 years ago, I came across this model that immediately attracted me. It hides its game well with its 500 meter water resistance without an unsightly valve and this milky white dial with its raised indexes gives it a very original look. The rubber strap is very comfortable and robust, it is a watch that can be worn daily and follow you on your vacation without worries. The second hand, the end of which reminds me of an airplane, animates this magnificent dial and I find the date beautifully integrated.

It was for my 30th birthday, I wanted to mark the occasion with a beautiful automatic brand watch. So I needed a robust and waterproof watch with date and metal bracelet in a budget of around €2000 (I also note that it has not lost value in 20 years) So I chose the Breitling SuperOcéan for its massive and indestructible appearance, but also for the finesse of the dial details, the Breitling logo and second hand. I fell for its white dial livery and blue dial. With its 500 meter water resistance and its luminova, you can dive with peace of mind. Mine has never gone below 20 meters 😁 It followed me everywhere, we worked, tinkered, traveled, dove, slept, partied together. I had it serviced twice and recently it stopped working...so I'm going to send it back to Breitling so it comes back to me shiny and in good working order.
