My Seiko Lord Matic 5606-5080 embodies the elegance and technicality of the Lord Matic range, a line that marked Japanese watchmaking in the 70s. Powered by the 5606 caliber, a robust automatic movement, this model is always a touch of good humor in my day. Its thin and sophisticated case adapts equally well to dressy outfits as to more casual styles. The finish of the dial, often with magnificent plays of light, highlights the meticulousness of Seiko's work at that time. The resolutely vintage and offbeat style makes it a very fun watch, but like all my Lord Matic models, it is especially the work on the faceted crystal that makes it out of the ordinary! The 5606-5080 is an excellent example of Seiko's desire to innovate while offering watches that are both technical and accessible. For lovers of vintage Japanese watches, it is a unique and original choice with colors and reflections that are rarely found.

An incredible design that has not aged; a bracelet that is super comfortable on the wrist; the facets of the crystal
but not a very sturdy bracelet
