Why customers love Seiko?

It's the end of March 2020, during the first lockdown. I wanted to treat myself during this strange period. The Seiko SARB033 had already been on my mind for a few months, but since the watch has not been on sale since 2018 (and even then, it was only in Japan), I didn't dare take the plunge. Finally, I overcame my reluctance and had to heat up the credit card and ordered a new SARB033 from Long Island Watches for €400. It will arrive on April 20, 2020, accompanied by customs fees that I had not anticipated :) The frustration of the customs fees was quickly faded and replaced by real satisfaction. The 38mm black dial is beautiful, the dauphine hands add a "dressy" touch, the date window is well integrated, the applied indexes are successful, in short, all good. It is also comfortable to wear because of its contained dimensions, perfect for my very thin wrist (15cm) and fits perfectly under shirt sleeves. The steel bracelet does the job but after a few months, I replaced it with leather straps, this watch being a real "strap monster". I have the impression that everything goes with this watch. On the technical side, the watch is equipped with a 6R15 movement which I believe has a 50h power reserve which is not bad for the price. In addition, the watch is waterproof up to 100m which gives it a real "everyday watch" side even if I would not go into the sea with it. Then, the watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal which adds robustness to it. In the end, I love this watch even if in 2025, I wear it less since my collection has grown a lot since then (it was my 5th watch in 2020 now I have 15). But every time I put it back on, always the same pleasure and the feeling of rediscovering it, especially when changing straps.

My Seiko 5 model SRPG47K1 was ordered in Japan at the price of 300 euros...I love its dial, this ice blue color, it comes with a Milanese mesh bracelet but I alternate with another Seiko bracelet...it is very comfortable and I often have positive comments when I wear this watch...its diameter is 42mm

My Seiko Prospex Mini-Turtle SRPC39K1 42mm...I really like this Seiko mini turtle with a smaller diameter than the turtle from the same manufacturer, my model is no longer made but it is still possible to find a new green or black model on online sites in Japan. The watch has a sapphire crystal.

I present to you my Seiko skx 009 7S26 bought in January 2024, I wanted it for a long time, between 2010 and 2015 I was looking to acquire one but I had not yet decided and at that time I had bought a good dozen watches and unfortunately it was not part of them. It has been in my collection for 1 year and quite often on my wrist, it has a superb face that makes you want to wear it often, the shape of the case and the bezel are really original, the horn to horn is relatively short so it is very pleasant and goes well even for a small wrist. What I like the most is clearly the deep blue and matte dial but I especially love the design of the 6, 9 and 12 o'clock indexes then the Pepsi bezel which goes wonderfully. An addictive diver, a must have, I validate 100%

I love this watch, I find it super pretty with its white guilloche dial background, the blue hands and the bezel which makes a great contrast, Seiko released its model in 2021 with at the same time 3 other models for the 140th anniversary of the Japanese manufacturer a PROSPEX a PRESAGE and a superb ASTRON... It is an automatic watch with 42 hours of power reserve... Movement 4R36. Diameter 42.50mm. Thickness 13.40mm. Retail price 300 euros.
