Why customers love Seiko?

It just happens to you. You want to see how it works and it's a disaster. Many amateur watchmakers remember opening their first watch and it often ends badly. This is the story of this Seiko whose case I decided one day to open and clean the dial. Result: I ruined the movement and wrecked the dial. I broke this watch that was perfectly functional. A little ashamed, I left it in a corner, swearing to myself that I would repair it one day. That was 5 years ago. And then I ended up restoring it quite recently. I reassembled the movement, replaced the defective parts, found a beautiful original dial. And here it is back, perhaps more beautiful than before! I love these Seikos from the 70s. A beautiful 37mm diameter with a thin bezel that offers a beautiful opening of the dial. I also appreciate the integrated crown which gives a pleasant roundness to the case. The silver tint of the sunray dial goes very well with the date disc. The case is also very thin despite an automatic movement. I really like this little watch that I always wear with pleasure

My Seiko Prospex Mini-Turtle SRPC39K1 42mm...I really like this Seiko mini turtle with a smaller diameter than the turtle from the same manufacturer, my model is no longer made but it is still possible to find a new green or black model on online sites in Japan. The watch has a sapphire crystal.

Damn, another diver, and another SEIKO… To say that at first, I wasn’t a fan of divers… For my 4th SEIKO diver, I was (re)looking for a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructor) version: ah, marketing… On the other hand, since I don’t like day-date complications or cyclops, it’s not easy to find one to my taste. What makes all the charm of this SEIKO is still and always this dial, superb, which "simulates" the reflections of the surface of the water, and the gradient of blue, from the deep blue of the abyss to the sky blue of the surface lit by the sun ... My photos do not do justice, but it is to die for! For the mechanics, again this 6R35 which runs well, with good autonomy, but a precision that we would have liked better. The drift is of the order of 15 s delay per day, within the tolerances of the brand. There you have it, it is my WTF watch, the biggest, which does not go unnoticed!

I really like this Seiko 5 with a diameter of 40mm which looks a bit like a Tudor bb…it is very comfortable, I wear it quite often…its diameter for a Seiko 5 is smaller because I have other Seiko 5 sport Milanese mesh which are 42mm, it is automatic with a power reserve of 42 hours…it also exists in black dial color and its public price is 270 euros.
