Seiko Presage Owner Review : Delicate, fine and beautiful

When I first saw this SEIKO SRPA13J1, I immediately fell in love with it. Unfortunately, it was no longer produced, but after a few months of searching, I managed to find it new at a jeweler near me, who had it in stock for........a while already! Hence a fairly easy negotiation.... I like many things about it, starting with its very beautiful textured dial. And then there are also its leaf hands and the very thin second hand, the nicely crafted crown, the shape of the case, the perfect diameter of 39mm, the faceted indexes, the water resistance of 10 bars, etc... Only the movement is not crazy crazy. A basic 4R35, with just correct precision. It would have deserved better. Still, I find it much more harmonious than my Presage Blue Moon. I really like this watch, and with a cream strap it is almost perfect.
