Hello, I would like to introduce you to my beautiful Seiko Presage SPB173J1 special edition, a watch only available in Seiko stores in Asia. Bought in Malaysia during a trip, its enamel green dial that absorbs light by changing from forest green to black via various colors of fir trees, it was my first watch on a steel bracelet. Its Roman numerals, its power reserve and the date at 6 o'clock give it a crazy charm, wanting to buy a watch that is rarely seen on the European market, I think it is successful, then it is a nice holiday souvenir, with a welcome at the Seiko store quite fabulous.

The main criterion that led to my purchase is this incredible "linen canvas" dial but it is not the only asset of this watch. It is very thin and therefore very pleasant to wear. The day can be displayed in English or in kanji. The applique logos (Seiko & Lord matic) bring relief, as well as the indexes. There is great Seiko in this Seiko. A great treat for not much money (300 euros on Chrono 24).

My Seiko Prospex Mini-Turtle SRPC39K1 42mm...I really like this Seiko mini turtle with a smaller diameter than the turtle from the same manufacturer, my model is no longer made but it is still possible to find a new green or black model on online sites in Japan. The watch has a sapphire crystal.

I always try to let myself be guided by the first impression! When I saw this Seiko on a watchmaker's workbench, I fell under the spell of its simplicity and its shape, very characteristic of Seikos from the 70s. A case recognizable among all, the crown "integrated" into the caseband and hands whose name I cannot describe, but which are different from the classic Dauphine and other Alpha. The rice grain bracelet is very pleasant to wear and it is an interesting point to note as Seiko is not really - I could be wrong - known for the interest of its bracelets. We find of course the symbol (reversed s at 6 o'clock) which thus specifies that this model was manufactured on the Daini site of Seiko. I love this watch, I find it super pretty with its white guilloche dial background, the blue hands and the bezel which makes a great contrast, Seiko released its model in 2021 with at the same time 3 other models for the 140th anniversary of the Japanese manufacturer a PROSPEX a PRESAGE and a superb ASTRON... It is an automatic watch with 42 hours of power reserve... Movement 4R36. Diameter 42.50mm. Thickness 13.40mm. Retail price 300 euros.
