Why customers love Swatch?

Bought for my dad, this Swatch is fun because hidden behind, small goldfish which is my dad's astrological sign and decorated with a tartan, to remind him of his love for England. Now, it is part of my collection because my dad is no longer here. It is a watch that has an importance for me because it was the last gift I had given him.

Small Swatch as an inheritance that belonged to my dad. A classic style with an atypical two-tone strap. I wear it either with a hoodie or a classic shirt. Light and comfortable to wear. Very classic for a Swatch. A little touch of originality with the big blue hand and the date. I wear it from time to time thinking of my dear dad…

Little gift from my dad for my 40th birthday I like this abstract side of this Swatch chrono but not very readable with these colors and lines. Comfortable and light. A nice surprise, without being one, that this Swatch Moonswatch received for Christmas. Being a happy owner of an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, I had this very attractive crossover on my radar and it immediately caught my attention when it was launched! In fact, it is a Swatch Quartz Chronograph at €250, or €50 more than the brand's other chronographs... it's quite expensive for a useless plastic object... This is where it becomes attractive to agree to be captured by a well-conducted operation that has allowed Swatch to seduce both passionate amateurs (call them what you want) and the general public who don't care about watchmaking but who find happiness in Swatch's magic recipe with its pop and tangy watches. The first target being microscopic compared to the second who for a modest price discovers that there are other things at Swatch than plastic watches... and that a watch has gone to the Moon! In 10 years, young people will come and testify on the Dialicious channel that their first emotion in watchmaking was a Moonswatch… and probably that the Omega brand “speaks” to them more than others! That’s the magic of watchmaking, seeing things that others don’t see. In this Moonswatch Jupiter, I see a thoughtful gift from my loved ones, the satisfaction of being a voluntary victim of the marketing of the two brands Swatch and Omega… It’s perfect if you understood that this Moonswatch is not a Moonwatch ;-)

Being a fan of the Speedmaster that I intend to buy one day, I hesitated for a long time to get this Moonswatch from the prices offered on the internet until I came across an ad with for once a price identical to that asked in store and what's more in hand delivery so I said to myself, let's go for it and so for a few days now I have been the owner of this iteration of the Speedmaster. Apart from that the watch is pretty but you can see that it is not made to last over time and that it is therefore a disposable watch. That said it does the job and pleases my nephew enormously to whom I am thinking of giving it and who knows, it might make him want to buy a real Speed in a few years.

After the Moonswatch that I acquired last week, I fell for this Blancpain X Swatch that I find really superb. It was also a real favorite once I had it on my wrist. The only downside is its nato strap that I don't find great although very pretty but fortunately the seller left me the rubber that is mounted on it and I find that it suits it wonderfully.

Another collector's item from the 1st generation of Swatch. When I show my watch collection, some people ask me: "Why do you bother with all these plastic Swatches?" First of all, I only have 3/4 of them and each one is either a memory of the journey taken before arriving at more prestigious models, or they are part of history. In this case, it has never been taken out of its box except to take the photos in this review and allow you, like me, to remember where Swiss watchmaking comes from before forgetting it with a Swatch x Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 😎

A simple and sentimental Swatch because it is a birthday present. It is also the watch that I wear most often on vacation! Basic and of negligible financial value that would allow me to forget it sometimes. Over time, I care more and more about it because it carries memories of beautiful vacations spent with family... Isn't that the value of a watch, the memories and not the time it was when we were on this beautiful beach, facing these majestic mountains or simply on the terrace of a café? We could almost imagine Proust's Swatch?
