Why customers love TAG Heuer?

It was with this TAG Heuer 6000 Series that I entered the wonderful world of mechanical watchmaking, on the occasion of my 30th birthday... It is one of the watches - if not the watch - the most important in my collection. In more than 20 years, I have loved it, adored it, hated it, abandoned it, to always find it again with immense happiness. Perfect size in 38mm, not ostentatious, no longer manufactured, symbol of an era when TAG Heuer had not yet been bought by LVMH. Even if I am not that much of a fan of new watches, TAG Heuer is one of the rare brands that I follow regularly on the occasion of the annual novelties. It is surely this one that gave me the taste for steel watches with very worked bracelets and different from the great classics of the market. Regarding its caliber, it is surely an ETA 2892 already very present at the time. Note that this version is COSC certified and interestingly, the same model exists without this certification!

The ideal watch to get started in luxury watchmaking. For lovers of style, this watch goes with all types of styles, from formal suits to casual Sunday wear A "suitable" retail price for a quality watch that carries the legacy of an iconic watch brand; without falling into the excessive price of watches without any particular complication from other brands. This diver (300m) will suit those looking for a discreet timepiece that, although imposing with its 43mm, is unknown to neophytes and will ultimately only be recognized by a handful of connoisseurs. A subtle blend of brushed stainless steel and ceramic, the unidirectional case-bezel assembly is aesthetically very beautiful due to its unusual geometry (and reinforced by the crown protectors). The case back is solid with a diving suit-shaped engraving that in no way alters the wearing of a very pleasant watch on the wrist. The blue sunray and ribbed dial gives the impression of looking at a different watch each time, depending on the viewing angle. The logo (like the hands) is rhodium-plated, which gives the watch some substance. Bracelet with a branded folding clasp with adjustment over 15mm (especially for diving). Downside: this buckle is a magnet for micro scratches if used regularly (and yes, a watch is worn!) but which easily disappears when polished. Easy maintenance, simple handling for a truly successful set of a Tag Heuer classic that I can only recommend due to its excellent value for money. Perhaps a power reserve greater than 38 hours and availability for steel models other than the classic black/white/blue would have been necessary.

TAG Heuer, a brand that has been associated with motor racing for several decades. I found this beautiful professional full set a few weeks ago. Capricious to get it going again, the quartz movement finally started up again after a session with the demagnetizer. Cosmetically very beautiful for a watch that is over 25 years old, its size of 37mm is ideal for my 17.5 wrist. Its light gray dial makes it very versatile. Its Mercedes hand gives it a little Explorer 2 look. The strap is well made but the buckle is a little hard to open. Remember that it is a diver with the extension for the suit. It is a pre-"Aquatimer" in a way. It is really a beautiful little watch, quite cheap for a Tag. Enough to think you are a grand prix driver.

I always wanted to buy a TAG Heuer and my passion for divers pushed me towards the Aquaracer. The TAG Heuer Aquaracer 300M embodies sporty elegance. Chrono that runs at different speeds to highlight the original speed of the 1953 Porsche 911! The Tag x Porsche collaboration is very successful and the 42mm diameter suits me better. A different watch, square, not always easy to wear due to its proportions... But what a joy to have the watch that best symbolizes, for me, the couple Watchmaking and Motorsports. I am more of a fan of F1 than watches and naturally I turned to this model when I was looking for a chronograph watch. A few months after my purchase, people around me tried to explain to me that I should have taken the model with the winding crown at 9 o'clock rather than at 3 o'clock! More historical and legitimate according to them? Why not and after some research, indeed the history of the Monaco begins with this inverted version... But if we start to look at the whole history of this Monaco with Steve McQueen who would not have really had one... we have not finished asking ourselves questions. Personally, the crown of a watch is on the right like the steering wheel of a car is on the left and I like it like that. No problem since I got it... It's almost perfect for me... A little less thick and it would be perfection 👍

1985, a great year for TAG and it is also the year of this watch. "Disturbing" is indeed the adjective that characterizes it because at first glance many will think they recognize a "Sub" or a "DateJust" given its strap.
