The Caravelle brand was part of the Bulova group, reference SET O MATIC Caravelle by Bulova
Movement 7715, 17 jewels, in short they preferred to put the package on the design ahah and finally it suits me well to have a tractor on my wrist and it shows
Finally the little tritium touch on the points above the indexes goes cream as we say at home ;)

Long live the Seventies!

This divine vintage watch has a patina on the hands and indicators that would make more than one pale...
This is probably the watch I prefer in my collection despite its 35.5mm diameter
This must be one or the first YEMA diving watch, with an automatic FE 5611 movement.
On a rubber strap, this watch can go on all fronts (not just sea....)
I love it and my eyes sparkle every time I wear it on my wrist.

The underwater nugget

Nothing original at first glance, to talk about Speed ... but this watch has bite, character perfectly embodying the pioneering and adventurous spirit (black dial and hesalite glass). We do not feel the 42mm on the wrist, so much the watch hugs the wrist. 
The famous caliber 1861 equipped the beauty. The steel bracelet gives a totally lunar look to this watch. unfortunately with the heat my wrist tends to swell so I got into the habit of dressing it with a nato from Omega which gives a little less pep to the watch, but each time I put its steel bracelet back on, the bromance starts again ... On the other hand, the more the years go by, the more the tritium dials catch my eye, these watches have an aesthetic power without any possible measure with the reference that I own. Maybe I will do a lunar jump for an 861 in the future ;)

So go to Speed'ee...

Like any tic tac addict, I scroll a lot without any real goal in order to discover new references (or brands). A lover of divers, I was one day (or one night) on a virtual watchmaking stroll, when I came face to face (well, nose on screen) with this IWC Aquatimer GST 2000, reference 353602. An immediate love at first sight for its design and curves. The obsession was just as sudden. I found an unstoppable way to chase it from my thoughts: buying it a few months later from a French dealer in Certified Pre Owned. 
This integrated case comes with a magnificent steel bracelet, which I find very elegant but unfortunately not very comfortable. For daily use, or at least more recurrent than very occasional, I was able to find the original bracelet in a rubber version giving a more adventurous side to this nugget. From memory, the caliber is a derivative of the ETA 2892-A2, which did not tip in the balance, the design of this diver being divine:
- a refined dial (exceptional readability)
- a massive case (42mm, 14.5mm thick), but on the wrist, there is a visual crushing of the watch that goes everywhere.
- a matte black unidirectional bezel with raised inscriptions, which has always hypnotized me.
- a massive and screwed crown.
Concerning the drifts, it is not a watch that I use daily so I adjust it each time I use it.
This watch is a pure pleasure, for the eyes, a little less for the wrist (except with the rubber version).

YEMA is a brand that has been with me for a long time in my life as a collector, and in my life in general. Even as a kid, I always heard about Yema. So I don't even ask myself the question of whether I should have one in my collection. 
Here is a Submarine that I really like. I love brown dials, I love smoked dials, so here, I am fulfilled! 
In addition, a reasonable size, a nice case shape, a reliable and precise movement....... Everything I like!
