One of my favorite watches! I received it with a few boo-boos, normal when you're 51 years old... I had to change the glass, straighten the crown stem and then a watchmaker took care of giving it a polish! The dial is like new with its original hands, pastel tones for the minute track, a nice internal flange graduated from 0 to 100 but I don't know the size, the whole thing is very harmonious. I love its saucer-shaped case, its day window in Roman numerals, the logo of its production site (Suwa Seikosha), its amazing timekeeping for its age and its chronograph that runs and resets to zero perfectly. This 6139 movement is historic! Some will say that it is the first automatic chronograph, others that it is not, but that is not the subject. In my opinion, it is part of history, regardless of its place on the podium.... A very lively Japanese watch that generates emotions, not a week goes by without me wearing it on my wrist!

I wanted a diver with a retro look… With this Yema Superman Skin Diver, it was all found! I fell in love with the cream-colored indexes with their font at 6/9 and 12 o'clock, the comfortable Scales bracelet that was perfectly done and the emblematic bezel block! Yema is a French brand and this model is in a numbered and limited edition of 1000 pieces, which doesn't hurt even if the movement is not in-house. Robust, precise and adapting to all clothing styles, it accompanies me perfectly in a dynamic daily life. However, "too clean", weariness is slowly setting in, I miss the extra soul that a real vintage brings with its experience, its wear and its history. Maybe I should have opted for the 39mm model too…

Yema was created in 1948 by Henry Louis Belmont in Besan&ccedil;on in France. Its design clearly caught my eye, especially with this tortoiseshell bracelet with the most beautiful effect and its imposing indexes and its shiny black dial. The superman case is also well balanced (good thickness) with this beautiful crown protector which makes its design unique. It has a Sellita movement which works well. What's more, it is entirely in brushed polish which means there is no fear of scratches. I only have one reservation about the size of the case, 48 mm on paper, however the bracelet does not fall. Its fall is rounded which does not allow it to fit the thinnest wrists (like mine) and makes it a little uncomfortable. I think you need a 17cm wrist to go.
