We know the famous slogan concerning the Bell & Ross style, a circle in a square, and that's exactly what this BR 03-92 Diver looks like, and it's always very successful! The crown guard as well as the black and steel crown bring a touch of robustness and design that I really appreciate on this model. The dial and the indexes are superb, and I like the shape of the hour and minute hands although their criticism would be that depending on the inclination of the watch, they are almost invisible, only the Luminova parts are visible which makes the hands very thin visually.
Everything else is beautifully done, and the bracelet is super comfortable, very soft and flexible, no discomfort after hours of wearing it.
The technical part is great, with an anti-magnetism standard ISO 764, anti-shock protection ISO 1413, and international standard ISO 6425 for diving watches whose specifications are 12 pages long :)

A magnificent introduction for me to the Bell & Ross house, which is a brand that I particularly like.


A diver in a square

New arrival and not the least, I had been looking for one for several months, a Speedmaster Racing reference 326.32.40.50.04.001

Wow effect when opening the box, it's striking these touches of yellow on a white & black panda dial, with the logo on the strap it's super modern and sporty, love at first sight.
The specs are top-notch with the co-axial escapement among others, and the caliber 3330 and its officially certified chronometer,.
A very beautiful important piece in my collection with its history (the speedmaster being first intended for time measurements on a racing circuit before going to the moon, it's a bit of a return to the sources,) but in a modernized and punchy version, with a DNA that is very present.
I am under the spell :)


A punchy Speedmaster!

This is my first Armand Nicolet and I am absolutely not disappointed by the services offered by this luxury Swiss watch manufacturer located in Tramelan, a mountain village in the Bernese Jura. founded in 1875.
Indeed this watch is made of titanium (case + pin buckle) which gives it a featherweight of 100g all round with the bracelet, a diameter of 45mm for a thickness of 12.7mm, yes it is a large watch but the very short horns greatly reduce the general visual of the case and fits perfectly on my 17.5cm wrist.
The dial and the time and date information are perfectly readable and quickly, which is an essential point for me. The 3 white hands on the black dial have a lot to do with it! Speaking of the dial, I really like the overall style of it with the raised numbers and the indexes with white outlines as well, while the flange is also black with white numbers, which offers a perfect contrast. The shape of the hands and the second hand with its yellow and red tip is perfectly consistent with the whole. The trapezoidal date window is also very original. 
Another point that I love is the crown circled with black rubber which allows a perfect grip in addition to giving it a very nice design, and which perfectly recalls the uvula also black on its edge and steel on the upper face, in short a very beautiful set that catches the eye. 
The movement is an ETA 2834-2, reliable and precise, with a power reserve of 40 hours, nothing to say about it it's Swiss and that's it! 
The watch is water-resistant to 300m, perfect for not worrying about it when swimming or other aquatic activities. In conclusion, it is a watch that I appreciate a lot on a daily basis, very pleasant on the wrist, we completely forget it due to its lightness, rather discreet, no polished steel that shines and attracts attention, while wearing a piece full of details with the Swiss made label which is a pleasure.

Lightweight, versatile and comfortable

I bought this Hamilton a short while ago and I can't explain it, but I can't live without it! It's really beautiful, the finishes are exemplary, the design is quite atypical with its round case resting on a barrel-shaped caseband that reveals openwork corners at 1:30, 4:30, 7:30 and 10:30. This design is indeed inspired by a model from the 1920s, the Piping Rock. And I still find it so fashionable today! It gives it a real personality and is a change from the endless diving models that all look the same, it must be said. 
I also love the comfort of the integrated bracelet whose curve perfectly matches the curve of the wrist and this pin buckle with the H logo that looks great. I really repeat it, this watch is incredibly comfortable 
The onboard movement is an ETA 2824 which guarantees the watch reliability and precision. The bezel is also technical and superb with a black rubber overmolding on a steel base, revealing the numbers and indexes in relief, it is very technical and the result is magnificent.
And for those who wonder why the number 0 instead of 12, it is a reference to the Hamilton BeLOWZERO model, the presence of this 0 being there to remind that the Khaki Navy Sub is a waterproof watch and therefore designed to go below zero level - that is to say underwater. Quite a program :)
You will have understood this Hamilton Khaki Navy Sub and far from being a simple and soulless watch, drawing its design from the past while using very contemporary techniques, those who made one of my favorite models and now almost my daily, I wear it very regularly.

Versatile & endearing

San Martin is known in the world of tribute watches for being one of the best brands, offering premium quality finishes and a very interesting quality-price ratio, with certainly a higher price than many Chinese competitors who generally range between 80 and 150 €, but quality comes at a price and this model costs around 350 €.
It is therefore obviously a strong tribute to the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5740, with a flawless construction and great beauty.
The on-board movement is a Miyota 9120, automatic and multifunction, which displays the date, day and month in addition to a 24-hour indication, all on 3 sub-dials arranged at 3/6/9 o'clock.
The only small downside is precisely this date window at 4:30 which breaks the harmony and symmetry of the dial I find.
The Dial is just incredible. Beautiful reflections in natural light, the blue is really superb (dark blue ref) and the horizontal lines as well as the San Martin logo add a very classy and controlled touch.
The bracelet is just as successful, extremely comfortable, superb with its brushed and polished finish, it greatly contributes to the beauty of this piece.
It is a very classy, chic and very comfortable watch that brings a nice touch of elegance.
As you will have understood, I am a big fan of this San Martin and it has its place in my collection next to my much more expensive Swiss watches.

A high quality tribute!

This watch from the Swiss brand Le Jour Rally Monte-Carlo (ref RMC-003) had been catching my eye for a while now, as I own another automatic Chronograph from the same brand, every time I went to their website to see the different models and colors available, I couldn't help but end up on the page of this Rally Monte-Carlo telling myself that one day it would be mine, and that day has arrived. What I immediately liked about this model was the shape of the case, with a little mix between the Nautilus and its lugs on the side, and the screwed crowns/pushers reminiscent of a Royal Oak chronograph (8 sides versus 6 however for the small difference). In short, the best of both worlds combined in 1 watch, with in addition a dial of the most beautiful effect and its horizontal lines as well as its perfectly readable day/date window. The indexes and hands are silver-colored and perfectly made, offering immediate and immediate readability of the time at first glance.
The bracelet is just as sublime, very comfortable, robust and offers pleasant flexibility. The case back is transparent and reveals the Swiss Sellita SW500 movement nicely decorated with the Le Jour logo on the rotor.
Its 40mm diameter is perfect for most wrists, and despite its 14.5mm thickness, it remains very easy to wear with any type of outfit, whether casual or more dressy. The distance from lug to lug is 48mm.
I love wearing this watch every day, it offers a real presence on the wrist, but also knows how to be discreet. I think it is really elegant, it has become one of my favorite pieces in my collection.

Superb automatic chronograph

My first TAG Heuer and I set my sights on the Carrera Calibre heuer 01 model. I had wanted to buy it for a while, having been immediately won over by the very chic and sporty look and at the same time very contemporary of this chronograph. I hesitated for a long time with the skeleton version but I finally opted for the full black dial version, with its superb micro-perforated black rubber strap with a design that is also very modern, in addition to being incredibly comfortable, and so practical with its folding clasp.
What can I say except that it is fine watchmaking made with care and without fault, the ceramic bezel is superb with the gray tachymeter scale, the 43mm case is entirely brushed except for the ends of the horns, all equipped with a domed sapphire crystal. Note that the transparent back is also made of sapphire crystal.
Transparent caseback revealing the manufacture chronograph movement, the Heuer 01 caliber, equipped with a visible red column wheel, and a black oscillating weight of the most beautiful effect. Offering a comfortable power reserve of 50 hours, and equipped with a balance wheel oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), 39 jewels, this caliber is very reliable and efficient.
Only small downside, the thickness of the watch which is 16 mm, I would have liked one or two millimeters less.
This TAG Heuer really respects the codes of the brand, namely car racing, with this little touch of red here and there on the dial and on the chronograph hands, the whole thing is in very nice contrast with the black and steel, it is a complete visual success, for me in any case, it is everything I like in a watch.

A chic and contemporary chronograph

Passionate about diving for a few years, how can you not have a watch dedicated to this hobby. 
While many buy diving watches just for style and don't even dare to wash their hands with them, I decided that it had to be used for what it was designed for. 

This is not my first Diver BR, I actually sold the first one to finance this one. 
why change one diver for another you might say?! 
firstly the reason we change is aesthetics, I'm going from a khaki model that was the military diver to a blue ceramic model, all BLUE. Which brings us to the second reason, I've always dreamed of having a blue watch since my childhood, for the moment we have two good reasons to be tempted to change eh! 
More rational but not least this watch has a story, that of the partnership between BR and the Tara Ocean foundation, being a diver I am particularly sensitive to the protection of the fauna and flora of our seas. this is therefore a more than valid reason to take the plunge. 

As soon as the release of the watch was announced I went to my watchmaker to place an order, a few weeks later I received the watch with the chosen number and yes since not to deviate from my rule it is once again a limited series (999 copies) and I have the 29 no I am not chauvinistic but I like the winks. 

As said above, I bought the watch first of all to dive, a Seiko SKX could have done the job but it is not a diver of my favorite brand so I prefer to stay with BR to find my happiness. 
Barely two days later here I am in a wetsuit ready to test the beast underwater. 

Reading comfort in broad daylight, that's inevitable, the white and blue contract does it well, on the other hand, a big change compared to my old diver, the superluminova used is not the same. We go from green superluminova C3 which charges quickly and restores a lot to blue superluminova grade X1 which charges just as quickly but less visible, much less visible. I admit that I was slightly upset especially during deep dives but fortunately the diving light allows the watch to be charged as needed which allows good readability to be restored. 
The second negative point for those who buy a diver for diving is that the brand does not allow the choice of the size of the velcro strap, it is automatically an S plus this one is specific to the tara since it has a blue buckle. So I had to buy an additional strap for diving so that it fits thick wetsuits. 

Despite these two drawbacks, the watch perfectly fulfills its functions, it also benefits from a movement upgrade that increases its autonomy from 38h to 54h. 

the choice of colors is great, very harmonious, the blue changes shade depending on the ambient light and it matches with different strap colors .... it is really a very pleasant model to wear. 
last very cool point but this is just my opinion, the caseback is decorated, the foundation's sailboat is engraved on it and it is really very successful. The watch also comes with a PVC patch representing the sailboat with the orange and blue colors of the foundation. 
I find that this 03 is a success to symbolize the 20 years of the foundation. 
I think you will have understood despite the two negative points I am won over and do not regret my purchase at all.
