Elegance, discretion and sobriety

Bréguet is a name that has thrilled me since childhood: all these inventions, all these pieces in museums. I can't afford a grand complication from the brand, but this classic, available in 4 versions (guilloché or enamel, white and yellow gold) has been catching my eye for a long time. I opted for the enamel and white gold version, for its discretion, its sobriety, its supreme elegance. 40 mm in diameter, 6 mm thick, welded horns, small seconds at 4 o'clock, Bréguet signature almost invisible at 3 o'clock, in the enamel. A movement of great beauty. The power reserve is a little short at 45 hours, but it's really not a handicap. It's a joy to wear under a dress shirt. But the advantage of white gold is that you can really wear it in all circumstances without it being too ostentatious. Sorry for my photos, which do not do justice to the beautiful flame-blued Breguet hands. This watch exudes a peaceful harmony, without being boring or tiresome. A pleasure to wear (and show off)
