There are few watches with alarm complications: the Vulcain cricket, the Jeager memovox, and Tudor tried it twice. It is a complication that is a bit of a 'gadget' of course in the age of smartphones and smartwatches, but which has a lot of charm. Incidentally, it is indeed very practical, the settings are simple, the ringing (I should rather say crackling) audible enough to wake a good sleeper and signal to your interlocutors the end of the current meeting and the start of the next one. 42mm in diameter, very comfortable to wear on a cooked or metal bracelet. The dial is elegant, not overloaded, but has useful indications (on-off and ringing reserve, small date at 6 o'clock). A crown for winding and time-date settings, a crown for winding and setting the ringing time, and a push button for on-off of the ringing. The sides of the case are nicely curved and polished. Very light little lum on the hands and some hour markers. A very reasonable thickness despite the addition by Tudor of the alarm module on a very correct ETA with 42 hours of power reserve. No frills, no sapphire caseback, 100 m water resistance, a Tudor tool watch, functional, elegant and harmonious. It is not a complication that attracts crowds, Tudor removed it from its catalog last year. I do not wear it very often, but it is always with pleasure, and it always intrigues the curious who hear it ring and discover this pretty watch and its nice complication. The photos are taken on my large 21.5 cm wrists.
