THE RETURN OF HIGH FREQUENCY
Bulova, A brand first known for its Tuning Fork watches has unfortunately not continued in this direction. A few years ago the brand released models equipped with an ultra-fast quartz movement with a frequency of 262khz including the famous Astronaut. Result: a second hand that slides on the dial like on a GS springdrive. The comparison stops there! The rest is relatively average in terms of finish but at a fairly low period price (- 150€ on VP) we still have a screw-down caseback and crown. In terms of reliability, the date no longer works but the rest works. High frequency requires it to be quite battery-hungry. The watch remains interesting, particularly for its ultra-smooth movement.
