Beautiful sunray silver that changes with the light. Magnificent applied Buren logo.

Two small stars at 6 o'clock. I don't know what they mean.

A cheeky 70's look. I like it.
Black sunray dial. Applied indexes.

Still luminescent. A tritium dot must have fallen and the hands spread it in a circle right in the center.

I inquired with Seiko customer service.
They tell me it's a sea lion case m330. But there is no engraving of the animal. Mystery.

A beautiful 54 year old!
She's looking for a new strap. Probably leather.

I had to bring you back to life. I changed your glass. You were missing an index at 2 o'clock and my watchmaker worked miracles by re-cutting a hand.

The overhaul of your magnificent 106-50-6 manufacture movement was a formality. You were still running after all. A sleeping beauty.

Your dial remains in its original condition. A patina that testifies to your long life.

Your horn is slightly twisted but I love you like that.

A light polishing revealed a magnificent pink gold and not yellow. A splendor.

Your dauphine hands are splendid.

Here you are again among us. I am proud to wear you on my wrist.



Zenith or 60s. A resurrection after 50 years in the drawer

Nothing can match the sentimental value of a watch inherited from one's father.

This watch is the one that made me dream when I saw it on my father's arm. The one that led me to love watchmaking. I was 14 years old then.

I wear it on leather or on a Breitling roller bracelet.

The valjoux 7750 caliber has been running perfectly for 35 years.

Some will find it too noisy. For me it is sweet music.

Breitling Chronomat. 1991. Portée par Belmondo au cinéma. 

My grandfather's watch. So no price.

Dated 1997.

Autoquartz movement. The balance recharges an accumulator. So immense power reserve.

Simple and elegant dial.

The tritium of the hands has disappeared or blackened

Waterproof 10 ATM. Crown signed and screwed.

Sapphire caseback making the balance visible.

A design that may be a little too wise. But I like its bracelet.

In 27 years. 2 accumulator replacements and a hand. Not expensive to maintain.

The brand Ollech &amp; Wajs was created in 1956 by Joseph Ollech and Albert Wajs in Zurich, Switzerland. Albert was responsible for the design, engineering and manufacturing of the watches, while Joseph handled marketing and retail sales. Before creating their own watches under the brand Ollech &amp; Wajs, they started their business in 1954 making steel bracelets for other brands.
The brand is known for distributing watches to units of the American army during the Vietnam War and for having earned its reputation among divers and pilots around the world.
