Time is passing, hurry up and live

This watch is very simple (37 mm case), with the codes of a diving watch while being a city watch. It is easily readable while being frankly different due to its red arrow-shaped hour hand. "TRIWA, time to change" is a Swedish fashion watch brand but which takes an anti-conformist approach. The acronym humbly means Transforming the Industry of Watches, and "time to change" indicates the desire to break the codes for a better world. We know that there are so many things to change, but the time has not yet come because we do not have the courage, the strength, because alone we cannot fight against powerful organizations that do everything so that nothing changes. And yet our life is short, we spend it conforming to organizations that we disapprove of and leaving aside our ideas and our dreams. Their line of watches using recycled metal from weapons seized from South American organized crime is an example of their unconventional approach. We can remove weapons from society so that the number of murders decreases and we can purify the metal to make watches. It is difficult, but it is possible. This watch comes from the "time for the Ocean" line which uses recycled marine plastics. The Sea Shepherd logo also brings an epic dimension. Of course, I do not share all the fights of Paul Watson, the founder, far from it, but the idea of protecting marine mammals, enforcing international regulations on this subject and alerting public opinion to flagrant violations is admirable. Similarly, the hijacking of Interpol by organized crime which led to the incarceration of Paul Watson in 2024, is not normal. Powerful criminal organizations like the Yakuza and the Ozero cooperative sometimes hijack the Interpol system to launch red notices against political opponents. There are mafia organizations that are capable of infiltrating state structures to serve their own interests. We are moving away from watches, perhaps, but that is what this dial and this bracelet express. This red hour hand, this TRIWA and Sea Shepherd logo, these are all these fights summarized. Yes, it is possible to resist organized crime, it is possible to denounce this overindustrialized world that endangers the oceans, that transports oil on illegal garbage ships ready to run aground at the first storm, that massacres dolphins and whales for no reason even in their most remote sanctuaries. That is all that this little watch says. Fortunately, in December 2024 Paul Watson was released by a Danish court after months in prison and was able to return to France, but at the same time an oil spill occurred (in the Black Sea). The fight for preserved oceans and free human societies is far from over. If looking at a sundial brings us back, through its motto, to our human condition which sees time flee before our eyes and death catch up with us, this watch reminds us that there are values that must be defended during the time we spend on land (or at sea). The soundtrack with this watch is of course whale songs. Captivating, close, deep and mysterious songs. Adjectives: Nonconformist, combative, energetic, light, simple, human; benevolent, courageous
