I had been wanting a YEMA for some time, and then I chose this model with its immaculate dial background and its superb shark bracelet. It is equipped with the YEMA 2000 4hz manufacture movement with 42 hours of power reserve, protected by a double-domed sapphire and has a diameter of 41mm It also exists in 39 mm. I really like this Yema watch which is emblematic of the brand and which refers to car racing and the Michel Vaillant comic strip...it has a Quartz movement but it is a watch with a Seiko V64 Mechanical hybrid quartz caliber at 32.768 Hz frequencies, brushed aluminum tachymeter bezel.

I bought my Yema Meangraf Y70 2 years ago on the Yema website and I am very happy with it. This watch is with a hybrid mechanical quartz Seiko VK64 movement. This watch has a reinforced racing look for this bi-compax chronograph with its kilometer bezel and its yellow and white hands in contrast with the dark gray dial. The steel mesh bracelet of the Meangraf Y70 was made of Milanese mesh for more flexibility and finesse. The clasp is engraved with the historic YEMA logo and adjusts quickly and very easily.

I present to you my YEMA Superman blue lagoon in Quartz version (vast subject ...) it is a very pretty watch but not very loved by lovers of the Yema brand? ... Yet I am one of the people who love Yema and I would never part with this watch ... it is too far from the codes of the iconic superman version of the French brand (I have two other Superman a gmt and a bronze green) ... the blue lagoon has first of all a diameter of 40 mm and its shape and its case is completely different from a classic superman ... But I personally like this watch a lot, it was delivered to me at the time with a steel bracelet but I prefer it on a blue or black Tropic type bracelet and I alternate. Its diameter is 40mm Waterproof 300m Case thickness 13mm mineral glass Price 300 euros.

Yema YEAU 011, automatic, 40 mm diameter. I think I've had it for 8 years (?) ... I don't wear it... not to my taste anymore. It works very well and is in new condition. I don't know what the movement is, Yema 2000 perhaps? A model without problems that makes me think of an attempt at a revival of the brand. Since then, the evolution is striking and so much the better.

Great opportunity to add a Navygraph to my collection, this limited series of 200 pieces for the launch of this model equipped with the new Yema CMM 20 manufacture caliber. This version is characterized by its minimalist and chic style without losing its diver's DNA (300m water resistance) Simple but neat finishes, deep black dial (difficult to show off in a photo), applied indexes, and sapphire black bezel. The details that I like: Yellow second hand and "Navygraph" screen printing that energize the dial, chamfers that extend to the crown protector, sapphire crystal caseback revealing this new micro rotor caliber. The 39mm and 9mm thick case is perfect for my wrist... Small downside on the leather strap a little stiff and not very pleasant to wear (to my taste). It will probably soften over time.

The practicality of the GMT function resonates with me, leading to an ongoing quest for an affordable yet commendable GMT watch. I remember reading a review on "Beyond The Dial" of this intriguing watch from Yema, obviously well-known in France but not particularly to me. I have been seduced by the opportunity to match my needs for a GMT and my love for France... Esteemed among watch enthusiasts for their legacy, Yema has further expanded their repertoire with this GMT, obviously complementing their iconic Superman aesthetic with functional diversity and a hint of color on the bezels. I chose the 41mm stainless steel, providing a remarkable 500-meter water resistance, enhanced by a redesigned crown and fortified case back. Two options were on the table regarding the bezel, and I decided to go for the 'Batman' style blue-and-grey bezel that highlights the red seconds hand and 500 meters label. The decision between sizes leans towards the 41mm, which offers better proportions... This is for me, of course. Even though I haven't tested it, I believe it was a good call. The watches feature a sapphire-crystal bezel that, along with the hands and hour markers, is treated with Super-LumiNova for low-light legibility. The locking mechanism on the GMT bezel, a carryover from their legacy dive watches, does the job from a design standpoint but might be redundant from a usage standpoint. The caliber appears to be the in-house YEMA3000 GMT, a robust movement with a 42-hour power reserve and independent GMT hand adjustment. It's working pretty well, obviously, even though I was not expecting anything particular from an accuracy standpoint. From what I've read recently, Yema has made a huge jump with some additional in-house calibers in partnership with Olivier Mory... Wearability is a significant highlight, with two options for straps or a steel bracelet. I have worn both and, as you can see in my photos, I have made the Tropic strap my own. For a bit more than USD 1,000, this Yema is a no-brainer, doing the job with its vintage charm.

YEMA Superman 500, 39 mm, "integrated" FKM Viton bracelet. In my budget, I hesitated between the Hamilton Murph 39, Hanhart Preventor, Baltic Hermétique, Tissot Chronomètre, Certina DS2...and then, newsletter from Yéma...promo - 30% on end of series. I consult and, I see this Superman 500 in several variations. I really didn't think about it. So I looked on YouTube the opinions...Very positive. It will be the 500, without date, black background and cream index in 39 rubber strap. Ordered and received. After three days (!!!) of use, I am won over. Of course, it seems to come from another era, but deep down, I had to look for that. It is magnificent. The finish with this case back, this dial...to the touch, when you turn the crown...the quality of the bracelet which has the defect of being "integrated", not my thing, so change to be expected. Really a nice watch. It's in the old pots...(?)
