This watch is quite unique. It dates from the early 90s. Sekonda was a British brand that the Soviets used for their models intended for export. This one dates from 92, so just after the collapse of the USSR. Inside is a Zaria 21 jewels 2009B mechanism produced by the Penza factory. It is a women's watch, with delicate and golden hands, a deep black dial but with dimensions disproportionately large for the time (the golden crown has a diameter of 42mm). The twelve indexes are present but in absurd locations, eight in a row and four in a group at twelve o'clock. In reality, in a watch the indexes are useless, what matters is that the position of the hands is clearly visible and the orientation of the watch is well done. And they are, so much the contrast is strong on this dial and the quartet at 12 o'clock allows to orient the reading well. I mounted it on a colorful handmade bracelet to go with the yellow on a black background. And it looks great on a man's wrist. Zaria and Sekonda are brands that still exist, but their current productions are not as dreamy. The strength is in Vintage!
