Why customers love Bell & Ross?

A bit like the full Lum in 2019, this watch is a bit of a UFO. Lum indexes and hands but not only. This model has the particularity of having a case that Lume almost entirely. It is composed of two materials, LM3D which is a composite material and titanium. Like the other X5s, the case is composed of multiple layers stacked on top of each other, a bit like a Cooper at BK. We are on a fairly divisive model and like its big sister the 03 Full Lum it is not a first watch. You already have to have a somewhat versatile watch to take the plunge with this X5. In my opinion, it is less marked than the 03 because it keeps the look of the more technical 05 but just as chic and sober as the 03 does not have. Easy to wear whether in a suit or in a casual outfit, it is very light and is quickly forgotten when you wear it. This watch has two complications, the 3-day power reserve and a large date that will remind connoisseurs of the brand of the BR01 Alti. the movement inside is a kenissi, renowned for its reliability, it can be seen through the openwork smoked case back. it is once darkness has arrived that the magical side of this watch operates, we then have a fully lit case on the wrist and even if it is a gadget it is super fun, the readability on the dial is not bad but remains limited when the hands overlap the rdm. You will have understood this model does not disappoint me, moreover it is a limited series of 500 pieces which means that we are sure not to see one on all wrists. This exclusive side remains an essential asset. I think we either love or hate the model, there is no half measure. what it lacks however if you are affected by strapitis like me is a wider choice of straps. we are limited to the straps of the X5 which only exist in 4 colors. price-wise it stings, but everything that is a bit WTF has a price accordingly, you have to know what you are buying and that we are not here to hope to make a capital gain behind it.

I have long imagined/searched for The Brand, The Watch for my 40th birthday. As an aviation fan, I was inevitably heading towards Breitling, but when the Bell & Ross BR 03-94 Blue Steel crossed my path, it was love at first sight. This beauty combines military design and modernity. Its 42 mm square stainless steel case is imposing and robust, on my wrist it is perfect (I have trouble with diameters less than 40 mm). It is difficult to choose the color, we would need them all, but I always fall for blue. The dial and its hypnotizing sunray blue subdials allow optimal readability. It is equipped with the BR-CAL.301 movement, based on the ETA 2894-2, which offers a 42-hour power reserve, a simple calendar complication (date) and a stopwatch. It is waterproof up to 100 meters but I never dared to put it in water, the watch is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It is comfortable, sold with its blue leather strap and a Nato-style nylon strap that I have never worn. No metal strap, too bad, I would have liked to see it with one. The price is quite expensive, it would have been a nice plus if it were COSC certified but it has no equal so we crack. As soon as you put it on your wrist, you feel like you have received your mission order, all you have to do is get into your Mirage 2000 or Rafale to go tease Maverick.

Resolutely urban, this BR05 represents in my opinion the perfect balance between elegance and robustness. I love its design and its integrated bracelet, I can wear it in all circumstances, as much on Sunday afternoon with friends as on Monday morning at the office. As chic as it is sporty, it adapts to all outfits and its bracelet is really comfortable. Some of the typical characteristics of Bell & Ross such as the shape of the case, its very readable dial and its oscillating weight, visible on the back with a 360-degree design, are also to be highlighted. The only small downside in my opinion: the crown is small and can seem a little fragile for a watch of this caliber.

First BR for me with this Bellytanker 41mm. A box shape that I love, an incredible finesse (when you see what others do on the market ...), a steel bezel that gives it a raw side and a super comfortable bracelet. Added to these superb ingredients is the fact that it is a limited edition, that it is waterproof to 100m and that the date is perfectly integrated. A great chrono far from the mainstream, I love it!

My first square watch and I love it. At first I was skeptical about buying and wearing this watch that I found too thin until the day when I passed by the retailer's store, I went in to try the BR05 to see what it would look like on my big wrist and finally and after several tries between the BR05, the BR03 Diver and the BR03 Black Steel which I finally left with. And since then I love wearing it and especially on the khaki rubber strap that the retailer gave me.

I bought myself this magnificent watch after building my house as a reward for a year of hard work. Before taking the plunge, I went to see it for over a year in the window of the Ad where I acquired it. I wanted a chronograph, and for me, it represents everything I like because it combines sportiness, class and refinement with its little vintage side, especially thanks to the color of its indexes. It is a little-known model, especially with its rubber strap.

What a mug! But only mug Deplorable reliability and precision. Finish, let's say, random with haphazard needle/index alignments. In short, a lot of bluffing and pretension. The brand's website is nevertheless clear. But understand that "urban explorer" means "shopping".

Passionate about diving for a few years, how can you not have a watch dedicated to this hobby. While many buy diving watches just for style and don't even dare to wash their hands with them, I decided that it had to be used for what it was designed for. This is not my first Diver BR, I actually sold the first one to finance this one. why change one diver for another you might say?! firstly the reason we change is aesthetics, I'm going from a khaki model that was the military diver to a blue ceramic model, all BLUE. Which brings us to the second reason, I've always dreamed of having a blue watch since my childhood, for the moment we have two good reasons to be tempted to change eh! More rational but not least this watch has a story, that of the partnership between BR and the Tara Ocean foundation, being a diver I am particularly sensitive to the protection of the fauna and flora of our seas. this is therefore a more than valid reason to take the plunge. As soon as the release of the watch was announced I went to my watchmaker to place an order, a few weeks later I received the watch with the chosen number and yes since not to deviate from my rule it is once again a limited series (999 copies) and I have the 29 no I am not chauvinistic but I like the winks. As said above, I bought the watch first of all to dive, a Seiko SKX could have done the job but it is not a diver of my favorite brand so I prefer to stay with BR to find my happiness. Barely two days later here I am in a wetsuit ready to test the beast underwater. Reading comfort in broad daylight, that's inevitable, the white and blue contract does it well, on the other hand, a big change compared to my old diver, the superluminova used is not the same. We go from green superluminova C3 which charges quickly and restores a lot to blue superluminova grade X1 which charges just as quickly but less visible, much less visible. I admit that I was slightly upset especially during deep dives but fortunately the diving light allows the watch to be charged as needed which allows good readability to be restored. The second negative point for those who buy a diver for diving is that the brand does not allow the choice of the size of the velcro strap, it is automatically an S plus this one is specific to the tara since it has a blue buckle. So I had to buy an additional strap for diving so that it fits thick wetsuits. Despite these two drawbacks, the watch perfectly fulfills its functions, it also benefits from a movement upgrade that increases its autonomy from 38h to 54h. the choice of colors is great, very harmonious, the blue changes shade depending on the ambient light and it matches with different strap colors .... it is really a very pleasant model to wear. last very cool point but this is just my opinion, the caseback is decorated, the foundation's sailboat is engraved on it and it is really very successful. The watch also comes with a PVC patch representing the sailboat with the orange and blue colors of the foundation. I find that this 03 is a success to symbolize the 20 years of the foundation. I think you will have understood despite the two negative points I am won over and do not regret my purchase at all.

One of the few big watches that I like to wear thanks to its reduced horns. The ceramic makes it very soft to the touch. The readability is at the top day and night with this nightlum series. The integration of the date at 4 o'clock is great by taking the font size of the reference. The change of bracelet is simplified by the pierced horns.

I have always been a fan of the Sinn brand and tool watches in general, much less of B&R for which I have no real interest. But this association of the two, produced in the 90s based on the Chrono 144, definitely won me over. This chrono is not a dress watch, it is thick and heavy, has presence on the wrist with its fake integrated bracelet look, but it exudes a crazy charm, notably due to the combination of the tritium patinated indexes and those of the fluorescent orange chrono. The absence of a tachymeter bezel overhanging the case is also an important point, aesthetically I prefer it internal and on the flange as here.
