Looking for a cushion case and a large date, I let myself be tempted by this model. Very good overall quality. The dial is quite simple with a lot of luminescence. The case is surprisingly flat, which is nice. The cushion shape is not very pronounced, it remains discreet. The bracelet is very polished but the shine is reasonable and does not stand out. Excellent value for money, at the top

This vintage watch from the Ebarhard & co brand is a classic from the 60s in a rare configuration with its fine hands and especially its gray sunray dial with the most beautiful effect. It has above all a date complication on a red/black disc (even and odd days) with a corrector at 9 o'clock allowing an adjustment of absolute simplicity. This is the particularity of the contograf. The red that is also found on the dial which I must admit is impossible to read in bright sunlight so much the gray has a mirror effect but otherwise what a pleasure to wear this chic and discreet watch. This version also has a steel bracelet which reinforces the sport chic side. A rare and hard to find watch but 100% pleasure

I had the pleasure of finding this second-hand Eberhard & Co, Boucanier model with a Grande date complication at 12 o'clock, and the small seconds at 6 o'clock. I really like this watch for several reasons: a very readable blue dial, a very balanced 39mm cushion case and its large date at 12 o'clock. As a reminder, the Grande date complication consists of 2 independent number discs to constitute the date. A complication with a certain charm and that we do not see often, the great specialists being mainly A. Lange & Söhne. The case is thin and adapts well to the wrist, the ETA 2892 movement appears on the back, in a top-level finish that is very pleasant to contemplate. It is a versatile watch, as comfortable with a dressy or casual outfit. A safe bet, from a well-known and historic brand, which delights me every time I wear it.
