What a joy to buy a watch from Humbert Droz. On this limited series, I was able to order the case number, discuss this model with Julien......... it's already a great experience. A fan of carbon, I fell for its originality, its cushion shape, the date window at 4:30, its very classy hands, clearly visible. It never goes unnoticed.

A French chronograph limited to 150 pieces, equipped with an ETA7753 whose reputation is well established both in precision and reliability and with a sporty look with a cushion format, it was a more than interesting proposition from the house of Humbert-Droz: I fell for it! Many chronographs offer us the tachymeter function, I opted for the pulsometer version when purchasing this watch, not that the function is more useful to me but it brings additional diversity to my collection of timepieces. The watch seems carefully assembled, the hands are perfectly aligned, the caliber precisely adjusted. The luminova is present on the hour and minute hands and on the indexes, the dial is not too busy despite the sub-counters and the date located between 4 and 5 o'clock. Rather massive, the watch gives off an impression of robustness and is more suited to average and strong wrists but remains correct for a small wrist like mine despite its 47mm screw-down crown included. Well below $2000CAD, the quality/price ratio is excellent. Available on leather and cordura straps, I would have liked a black steel strap like the watch. Also a small detail, the orange color on the dial, also used for the stitching of the strap or on the second hand could have been flashier for an even more dynamic look, always more sporty and would perhaps have provided better readability of the chronometric information.
